BOTELLO, Rose, 99, of Knotty Oak Rd., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Kent Hospital. She was the wife of the late Anthony J. Botello. Born in [Johnston], she was a daughter of the late John and Filomena (Martinelli) Russo.She was the [2nd] oldest of 5 children who grew up on the farm in Cranston, RI. She enjoyed crafts such as, crochet, drawing/painting, sewing/quilting and baking Italian biscuits/cookies. She loved to travel and spending time at her "camp" in Maine. She loved her family and friends and always wanted everyone over on holidays to "Eat" the food she had worked so hard preparing. She was a collector of antique oil lamps and has many dating back to 1870.
