Ronald “Ron” Thome Mathias, 74, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at his home.
He was born in Tiffin, son of the late Norval Mathias and Lucille Thome Mathias.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Mathias; six children, Scott (Deb) Mathias, Mark (Terri) Mathias, Julie (Todd) Steele, Matthew (Tiffany) Mathias, Joanne (Tony) Link and Jeanne Mathias; eight grandchildren, Susan and Hannah Mathias, Matthew and Jackson Mathias, Olivia and Jaima Link and Evan and Sydney Mathias; and a great-grandson, Jarhett Mathias.
Ron worked in human resources at American Standard for 23 years.
A graveside service for Ron will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery
