J. Barry Mahool, Jr., was the son of Mayor J. Barry Mahool and Mary Louise Frame Mahool. He was a graduate of Baltimore City College, and was a member of the 1925 graduating class of Dartmouth College. He died in New York City where he had lived for many years. He had married Rita Ann Rheinfrank of Greenwich, Connecticut, in 1927. He was survived by his wife and daughter, Patricia Ann Mahool. His wife Rita died in 1991 in New Jersey.
