Eddie James “Jayme” Manes, 54 of Star City, died Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. He was born December 14, 1962 in Hanford, CA. He was a member of Overcoming Faith Worship Center in Star City and was a retired mechanic and farm head.

Preceding him in death were his father, Garland Manes; step-father and mother, Frank and Faye Sardinha; and 2 grandsons, James Teague, Jr., and Jayden Teague.

Survivors include his mother, Barbara Hunter Manes of Star City; 2 sons, Matthew (Brittney) Manes of Lafayette, IN and Kasey (Rachel) Manes of Conway; 3 daughters, Monica (Clint) Cook of Dolph, AR, Pamela (Wesley) Lunsford of Bigelow, AR and Nicolette (Terrie) Henson of Calico Rock, AR; 3 brothers, Glen Wrinkle, Daniel Wrinkle, both of Star City and Thomas Sardinha of Visilia, CA; 3 sisters, Garla “Sissy” Manes, Sheila (Eddie) Magness, both of Star City and Leslie (Tom) Hart of Grover City, CA; and 8 grandchildren, Aubree “Peppers” Daugherty, Dreamley King, Penelope Cagle, Ebony Teague, Brayden Teague, Kaylee Teague, Paislyn Manes and Jackson Manes.

Funeral services are 4:00PM Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Charles Hunter officiating. Visitation is 6:00-8:00PM Friday at the funeral home. Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers are Coty Burnett, Carl Stout, Jr., Hunter Wrinkle, James Shipman, Jr., Brian Shipman and John Wrinkle.
