Santa Rosa, TX - Jerry Ronald Cronin, 78, entered into the Lord's heavenly kingdom on Saturday, September 9, 2017.
He was born on December 28, 1938 in Garrett, Indiana to Albert Cronin and Helen Seltenright. He was a lifetime resident of Indiana.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Jacob Cronin.
Jerry is survived by family to cherish his wonderful memory, loving wife, Sue Carroll Cronin; children, Angelique (Curtis) Friend, Orland, IN; Joshua Cronin, Independence, OR; Jessica Cronin, Ft. Wayne, IN; and 3 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Faith Assembly of God Church in Combes, TX with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Faith Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow to Santo Nombre Cemetery in Santa Rosa, TX.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Roy Gonzales, Nazario (Nasi) Martinez, Robert Pardue, Johnny Sanchez, Timoteo Hernandez, Richard Cox.
Jerry was very active in church work, and other activities. He was a handyman, mechanic, carpenter, plumber, and was always ready to help all for the work of the Lord. He was a wonderful husband, father, great friend, brother, and had a contagious smile. Jerry will be greatly missed.
