The Rev. Bob Covington will officiate and burial will be in Greenlea Cemetery.
Mr. Hicks died Monday morning at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Black Oak Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Beulah Stevens Hicks; three sons, Russell Bryant Hicks Jr. of Hobart, Ind., Wallace E. Hicks of Merrillville, and Gary Hicks of Phoenix; two brothers, Henry Hicks of Texas, and Willie Hicks of Union City, Tenn.; two sisters, Alice Hicks and Anna Lou Hicks, both of Fulton; and seven grandchildren.
