Reynolds, Richard A.

Richard A. Reynolds, age 74, of Manitowoc, passed away Tuesday evening September 12, 2017 at North Ridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center of Manitowoc surrounded by his loving family.

Richard was born on September 15, 1942 in Manitowoc, son of the late Archie and Frieda (Petersohn) Reynolds. He attended local area schools in Manitowoc. Richard was a member of the United States Army serving from August 2, 1961 until July 18, 1964. On September 11, 1965, Richard married the former Joanne C. Kaminski in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on May 18, 2016. Richard worked for Weyerhauser retiring due to illness in 1994. He was a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church and the Carpenter's Union.

Survivors include his two children and their spouses: Terry (Carrie) Reynolds, Manitowoc; Brenda (Paul) Peltier, Mishicot; two grandchildren: Terra Reynolds and Jacob Peltier; one sister: Nancy Reynolds, Manitowoc; one special aunt: Ethel Porubcansky, Francis Creek; two special family friends: Dalton Dereene and Zane Dereene, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Archie and Frieda Reynolds; his wife: Joanne Reynolds and one brother: Russell Reynolds.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 3209 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc. The Rev. Stephen Melso will officiate with burial of his cremated remains at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
