He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Marion Renthrop, brothers: Roland, Labon, John, Joseph Taylor (J.T.), and Benson LeJeune, sisters Lela LeJeune Ambercrombie Barkley and Rita Mae LeJeune Haggard; son Timothy LeJeune and grandchildren, Mary Katherine (Katie) Hutto and Nathan Scott LeJeune. He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Barbara Domingue LeJeune of Jeanerette, sons: Robert R. Jr.(Gay), Kenny (Ginny), Steve (Christine), Joey (Debbie) and Scott (Martha), daughter, Renee' Hutto (Greg); 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He willed his body to LSU School of Medicine fulfilling his desire to help those who remain on earth and his wishes were honored. A celebration of Bobby's life and entrance into eternal life will be held on Saturday, July 7 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edmunds Catholic Church with Mass celebrated by his nephew, Fr. Jamie Abercrombie.
