Mr. Kenneth “Leon” Cox, 82, of Dalton passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017.
He was the son of the late Earl Thomas Cox and Bonnie Gowin Cox and was preceded in death by his sister, Edna.
Leon was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, was choir director at many churches and sang on the gospel broadcast for many years on W.B.L.J. radio along with the Gospel Broadcast Trio.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Delores Lewis Cox of Dalton; son, Kenton and Nancy Cox of Snellville, GA; daughter, Karmon and Scott Suits of Varnell; sister, Selva and Odell Cochran of Tunnel Hill; brother, Perry and Doris Cox of Rocky Face; extended family generation.
Services for Leon will be on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
