Marilynn was born to Clarence and Hazel (Haring) Warn in Lansing on August 3, 1940. She attended Lansing Eastern, graduating in the class of 1958. She married Edwin Chaffee of Lansing in 1962, and worked for the Michigan Secretary of State in Lansing, retiring in 1991. Her favorite pastime was working with watercolor painting, photography and her flower gardens, and fishing.
Marilynn is survived by her husband Ed, one daughter, two grandchildren, and a brother and sister.
Marilynn was preceded in death by her parents, and stepsons Craig and Rodney.
