Norman B. Cline, 96, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Circle of Life Hospice.

Norman was born on May 24, 1921 in Kingston, Arkansas to Alvin and Minnie (Deathridge) Cline. He was an U.S. Army veteran and served in WWII. He worked as a driver for Arkhola and enjoyed gardening in his free time. Norman was also a devoted member of Westside Free Will Baptist Church of Springdale and was a member of the Freewill Baptist Association and worked as a minster for them. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Velma Cline, 2 brothers, and 7 sisters.

Norman is survived by his wife, Evalena of Springdale, Arkansas, a daughter, Ina Johnson, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, 2 sons, Newell Cline, and Norvel Cline and wife Liz, all of Springdale, Arkansas, 10 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the Westside Free Will Baptist Church in Springdale, Arkansas from 1:00-2:15 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:15 p.m. with Pastor Paul Payne and Pastor Leon Hodge officiating. Committal service to follow at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas with military honors.
