Hollis was a miner for years and was the owner of H&H Striping and Sweeping. He loved racing and was a member of the Moose Lodge since 2002, serving as the Governor in 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Hunt, whom he married on June 9, 1994 in Cheyenne; three sons, Rob Hunt (Tori) of Torrington, Bubba Timmons of Elko, Nevada, and Cody Hunt of Verdigre, Nebraska; two daughters, Tasha Hunt (Gill Valdez) of Cheyenne, and Tammy Cade of Battle Mountain, Nevada; a sister, Lanetta Burke (Tom) of Cheyenne; nine grandchildren, Hollie, Preston, Tyler, and Jordan Hunt, Terrel, Jonathan, Shantel, and Melanie Timmons, and Colton Cade; and two great-grandchildren.
