Marjorie Boyd Fields Buckner died Monday, February 20, 2012 at Siler City Care and Rehabilitation.
Margie was the youngest child of Robert Palmer and Nannie Mae Andrew Boyd, born on February 23, 1927, in Chatham County. She attended Siler City Chapel for many years prior to her illness. She loved the Lord and her family, She was an outstanding cook and was a 'special lady', touching many lives with her kindness and always had a smile for everyone. Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph M. Fields, Winfred E. Buckner and her son, Michael (Mike) Fields.
She is survived by a daughter, a sister, a daughter-in-law, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
