Paul E. Armbruster, 93, of Troy, Ohio, passed away Tuesday December 26, 2023, at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy. He was born May 12, 1930, in Richmond, IN to the late Carl and Ida Edith (Adams) Armbruster.
Paul is survived by his wife Sandra (Walburn) Rudy Armbruster; children: Paula (Don) Ballinger of Mt. Dora, FL, Jacob "Jake" (Becky) Armbruster of Tipp City, Anthony "Scott" (Jennifer) Armbruster of Springboro, Tim (Denise) Rudy of Loveland and Kim (Eric) Carey of Casstown; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Darlene and brother Everett Armbruster.
Paul was a driver for enterprise since 1997 and a courier for Fed Ex. In Richmond he was a manager with Kutters – Eavey Supermarkets where he served as a Produce Manager and owned and operated a Sunoco Service station. He was a past member of Christian Life Center and First Baptist Church in Troy. Paul was a current member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Troy. He was also a member of Habitat for Humanity, Partners in Hope and state officer for Rural Letter Carriers Association Aux.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Matt Harbour officiating. Burial will follow in Royal Oak Cemetery in Brookville. Friends may call on the family from 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
