"Mrs. Angus Clarke, 64, Had Been in Ill Health Several Years, Winneconnie -- Mrs. Angus Clarke, 64, route 1, Larsen, took her life by hanging Tuesday morning, according to Undersheriff Paul Neuhauer. She was found by her son, James, in the basement shortly before noon.

"The undersheriff said she had been despondent and in poor health for several years. She was born in the Town of Winchester and taught school at Allenville for two years and at Stanley prior to her marriage.

"Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Friday afernoon at the First Presbyterian church here with the Rev. Frank Harris and the Winneconne chapter of the Order of Eastern Star in charge. Burial will be in the Bell cemetery. Friends may call at the Mueller Fuenral home there Thursday afternoon and evening and until 10 o'clock Friday morning and then at the church to the hour of the service.

"Survivors are the widower; a son, James, Larsen; four daughters, Mrs. Genevieve Wroby of Eau Claire, Mrs. Twen Elias of Neenah, Mrs. Joan Knutsen of New Richmond and Mrs. Charlotte Verstegen of Little Chute; four borthers William Furman of Larsen, Ted Furman of Oshkosh, Dr. Raymond Furman of Los Angeles, Calif., and Earl Furman of Houston,Texas; and two sisiter, Mrs. Lou Wohld of Oshkosh and Mrs. Clara Allen of Allenville, and eight grandchildren."
