CAUSE OF DEATH:
Miss Diane Seifert and Nancy Zarth were driving northbound on Cicero Avenue at Vollmer Road. A second vehicle driven by Robert Soltys (with three passengers) left the roadway on an unpaved portion, swerved, and was then struck by Siefert's vehicle. Nancy was the only casualty. On October 11, 1972, Robert Soltys & Diane Seifert were charged with driving too fast for conditions and disregarding traffic signals. Seifert was also charged with involuntary manslaughter and Soltys was charged with reckless conduct.
