Mom attended school in Provo, Utah, graduating from high school and one year at BYU. Between her junior and senior year of high school her family lived in New York City while her Father studied music at Columbia University. She and her sister Neva worked at a five & dime and had much fun exploring the "big city". She took summer school so she could graduate with her high school class. In 1933 she married Henry H. Falkner at the Salt Lake City Temple. When Dad retired they moved to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, then to St. George, Utah and back to Boise, Idaho. They enjoyed 72 years of marriage. Mom was a gracious, kind and tender loving woman. She was an exceptional cook and hostess. Her hobbies included: reading, bridge, knitting, gardening, crafts, traveling and time with her family.
