Bob worked as a dispatcher for the North Smithfield Fire Department and previously worked for Edgecomb Steel Co. and local area textile mills. He was a volunteer fireman for the Nasonville Fire Department where he served on the operating committee and held multiple positions from Private to Deputy Chief. He also was a volunteer for the St. Vincent De Paul Society and he also coached in the Burrillville Little League. Bob was a Vietnam US Army veteran.
