Virginia Barrier
Services for Ms. Virginia Barrier were held Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, at 10 a.m. from North Bend United Pentecostal Church.
The Rev. Nathan Moore and the Rev. Johnny Peden officiated. Interment followed in North Bend United Pentecostal Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Barrier, 82, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, at her residence in the North Bend Community, where she has lived most of her life.
Before retiring, she worked at Anthony's Syrup Company.
Ms. Barrier was a member of North Bend United Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by
her parents, Louie Berket May and Annie Prudence Murphy May;
husband, Alonzo Barrier; and
brothers, Richard May, Rufus May and Hubert May.
Survivors include
sons, David Barrier and the Rev. Bobby Barrier;
7 grandchildren; and
14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Brooks Barrier, Brad Barrier, Brian Barrier, Dusty Barrier, Daniel Barrier and James Ike Barrier.
