KIMBROUGH, JR., Ernest Moore (Squee) Ernest Moore Kimbrough, Jr. (Squee), 77, of Haskell, Texas, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017. Squee was born in Haskell "By God", Texas on January 24, 1940. He graduated from Haskell HS and attended Schreiner, Texas Tech University and graduated from McMurry College. He settled in Dallas, Texas where he spent over 50 years before returning to Haskell 3 years ago. Squee worked for Southwestern Life Insurance Company when he first came to Dallas. He worked in real estate, oil and gas and mortgage banking. He most recently spent his time lending a hand in the community of Haskell. Dad never met a stranger and impacted the lives of many through the YMCA and involvement in his kids lives. His favorite quote he often shared with family was "May the best of your past be the worst of your future." He joined AA in March 1987 and recently picked up his 30 year chip. Dad was a mentor, sponsor and friend to so many. Squee was active at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church and followed Don Benton. Squee is survived by his children, Kelly Kimbrough, (Trey) Ernest Kimbrough III, and Emily Weber; 5 grandchildren, Shea, Taylor & Clay Kimbrough and Hayden & Nate Weber. Sister, Claire Kimbrough Bowden. Memorials may be made to Haskell Cemetery Assn. P.O. Box 761 Haskell, TX 79521; to Alcoholics Anonymous or a charity of your choice in his memory. There will be a memorial in Haskell, TX at a later date. A gathering at Aria Cremation and Funeral Home NW Hwy 6 to 8 pm Thursday 9/23/17.
