US NAVY - WORLD WAR II, KOREA

Frederick R. Leonard, age 91 years, died March 11, 2007 at the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, Pa. He was born in Webb, Colorado, (cannot find any info on Webb) to the late Alfred A. and Lora A. (Pressley) Leonard. He retired from the U.S. Navy and the Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot. Following retirement he was instrumental in the computerization of the package store at the Naval Depot. Federick was a life member and former president of the Fleet Reserve Association; a life member of VFW Post 7530, Lower Allen; and American Legion post 109, Mechanicsburg. He was a U.S. Naval veteran serving both in World War II and Korean War.
He is survived by his wife Anna Leonard of Mechanicsburg; 2 daughters, June L. Koons and her husband William J. of Mechanicsburg, Carol A. Shaffer and her husband Thomas B. of Duncannon; 6 grandchildren, Tom Shaffer Jr. June Myskiew, Ann Bluhm, William Koons; 2 great-grandchildren Conner Myskiew and Devlin Koons.
Graveside serivces will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
