Chris Leland Brandon was born on June 1, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to Kristjan and Lela Brandon. He was raised in Illinois. He served for the united States through the U.S. Marine Corps, and upon his return married the love of his life, Mary Ellen Saran.
Together they raised six children. The family now includes 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In the early '70's he immigrated to Canada along with three of his children and lived in the Lower Mainland until his death.
One of our family's fondest memories is the celebration of Chris and Mary's 50th wedding anniversary in October, 1998. Chris also achieved 50 years status with the Carpenter's Union, one of his proudest achievements.
Not only was Chris loved by family and friends, he took every opportunity to express his love for them. He was a joker, a teaser and a loving man who will be dearly missed.
