Dublin – Henry Paul Hulme, age 90, died Monday, September 18, 2017, at Dublin Place in Dublin. Graveside memorial services will be held Sunday, October 1, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at Northview Cemetery in Dublin.
Mr. Hulme, born in Laurens County, had recently moved to Dublin from Atlanta. He was the son of the late Dr. William Gibson Hulme and Sue Balchin Hulme and was preceded in death by his brother, W. G. Hulme, Jr., his sister, Virginia H. Abney and his nephew, Larry Abney. He joined the Navy in 1945 and received an honorable discharge in 1947 to attend the University of Georgia. He graduated after 3 years and soon began his career with IBM and retired from IBM in Atlanta. He was a football enthusiast and faithful to his beloved Georgia Dawgs.
The family will greet friends after the service Sunday at Northview Cemetery.
