A graveside service for Mrs. Estep will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2017 in Panorama Memorial Gardens, Waterlick, VA, with P.G. Coverstone officiating.
Mrs. Estep was born near Toms Brook, VA on January 18, 1926, a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Ethel May Hahn Kronk.
She was a graduate of Toms Brook High School where she was a member of the basketball team.
She married the love of her life, Carroll Edward Estep, on August 25, 1945 and celebrated 64 years together prior to his passing on October 7, 2009.
She was a former employee of Avtex Fibers, Inc. in Front Royal, VA and was of the Lutheran faith.
Her life centered around her family and was full of unconditional love. She did whatever she could for friends and neighbors and has left us all with beautiful memories.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph, Harland, Marvin "Buddy" and his twin brother Marion; and two sisters, Hilda Kronk Neff and Geneva "Betsy" McWilliams.
Survivors include her children, Carrol R. "Randy" Estep and wife Linda of Winchester, VA and Philip A. Estep and wife Sharon of Strasburg, VA; her grandchildren, Amy Lineweaver of Strasburg, Eric Estep and wife Amanda of Winchester, and Audrey Estep of Strasburg; step-grandson, Danny W. Cameron of Front Royal; her great-grandchildren, Sadie Lineweaver, Wyatt Estep, Madelyn Grace Estep and Noah Cutrona; one sister, Louise Kronk Hausenfluck of Edinburg, VA; two sisters-in-law, Lois Kronk of La Plata, MD and Carolyn Kronk of Richmond, VA; and many loved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Stover Funeral Home on Thursday, September 28, 2017 evening from 7-9 p.m.
