LUCILLE GOLOB
Lucille T. Golob, 62, of Route 2, Melrose, died Nov. 26 at her home.
She was born in Monroe County on June 7, 1921, the daughter of John and Anna Bellis. She had lived on a farm north of Melrose since 1946 and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Melrose and the Altar and Rosary Society.
On Feb. 13, 1943, she married Pete Golob at Weller. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, John of Hamilton, Ill., and Mike of Ft. Mead, Md.; one daughter, Nancy Casady of Melrose; two grandchildren; and three sisters, Marie Kinnard of Albia, Katherine Ryan of Melrose and Helen Baxter of Independence, Kan.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
The funeral was at 11 a.m. today at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Melrose with the Rev. George Hoenig officiating. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Melrose. A rosary was at 7 p.m. Monday at the Humeston-Gilbert Funeral Home.
