Millard (Moe) Wilson Bailey, 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 21, 2017. Mr. Bailey was born in Greensboro, NC on December 13, 1935, to the late Troy Homer Bailey and Hazel Ann Dawkins Bailey. He retired as a Sergeant from the Greensboro Police Department after 32 years of service and then afterwards worked at the Greensboro Coliseum managing the parking lot until 2008.

Family, faith, friends and service were extremely important to Moe. He had a very kind heart and was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather and was an avid gardener and bird watcher and enthusiastic fisherman.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy Humphries Bailey of Greensboro; daughters Angie (Eddie) Clark, Andrea (Brian) Cagle, Kim Bailey, and Kelly (Bird) Meris; grandchildren Carly Burroughs, Tanner Cagle, Brinley Cagle, Dawson Burroughs, Lathan Meris, and Lincoln Meris; brother Troy (Shirley) Bailey; sisters Helen Compton and Gattie (Roy) Greeson; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews; all of whom he loved very much.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 25 at Guilford Memorial Cemetery in Greensboro.
