Dennis "Crazy" Chronister, 63, of El Centro passed away on January 6, 2016. Dennis was born on April 11, 1952 in Brawley, CA. He attended local schools in El Centro and graduated from Central Union High School in 1970. Dennis began working for the Imperial Irrigation District in 1977 and retired after 26 years. He married Shirley Sanga on December 31, 1978. In 1982 their son, Dennis, was born. Dennis was very involved with his son's sports and 4H. He loved spending time with his granddaughter Abby. Services will be private. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Alford Barron and Bonnie; nephews, Richard Hester and Barron Burch; niece Laura Doerrer; and brother-in-law Ron Still. He is survived by his wife Shirley Chronister; son Dennis F. Barron Chronister; and granddaughter Abbygail Chronister; brother Bob (Joyce); sisters Jean (John), Grace (Rod), Peggy and Susie; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
