Philip Wayne Amlong, age 61 of Garland, TX, passed away April 6, 2017. He was born December 23, 1955, in Dallas, TX, to Richard Claude and Emma Lee (Adams) Amlong. Phil's hobbies were watching his Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks.
Philip is survived by his wife: Rome Amlong; daughter: Alex Amlong; mother-in-law: Margarita Castro; brothers-in-law: Joe Castro, Amador Castro, Rudy Castro, Robert Castro, Ruben Castro, Nacho, and Johnny; sisters-in-law: Linda Ramirez, Lupe Lozano, Elisa Martinez, Joy Castro, and Sylvia Zurita; nieces and nephews: Jimmy, John, Eric, Michael, Anthony, Nate, Bobby, Nando, Maggie, and Jennifer; brothers: Greg Amlong and Richard Amlong; and sister: Jennifer Gates. He was preceded in death by his father: Richard Claude Amlong; mother: Emma Amlong; brother: Chris Amlong; and brother-in-law: Ricky Castro.
