Dierdra Lane McDonald, age 51, of Greenfield, Tennessee, was called home to be with the Lord the 26th day of September 2017. She was the first grandchild of the late Gordon and Hallie Mae Adams of Dresden,TN and the first of four children of the late Charles E. Adams of Dresden and the late Judy A. Perry of Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania. She leaves behind her sisters and brother, Kimberly Fisher of Lake St.Louis, Missouri, Julie Morabito of East Brady, Pennsylvania, and Frank Adams of Conneautville, Pennsylvania.

Dierdra was born in Paris, TN where she became a girl scout and spent her childhood in Pennsylvania and west Tennessee. Dee Dee, as her friends knew her, loved spending her summers at Granny and Pa's with her siblings. As she grew up she learned to play the clarinet and proudly became the drum major of her high school marching band.

Dee Dee graduated from high school in Meadville, PA, moved to Tennessee, and went on to raise her only daughter, Rebecca Sibley of Bella Vista, AR, with husband, Hollis McDonald of Greenfield.

She shared a deep love of music with her daughter and they would often sing solos, duets, and in church choirs just as she did growing up with her siblings.

Dee Dee worked at Martin Manufacturing for about 13 years but her heart went into raising her daughter, supporting her in all of her endeavors, serving the church in missions, teaching youth groups, and enjoying West Tennessee life.

When her first grandchild, Kiersten McDonald of Bella Vista, Arkansas, came along, Dee Dee found her calling in life to be the best grandmother she could possibly be. She continued to love and adore all of her grandchildren: Natalie Claire Sibley, Kyle Dean Sibley, and Dane Alexander Sibley all of Bella Vista, AR. Iva Jean Sibley of Farmersville, LA. Dakota Young, Colton Young, and Autumn Young, all of Emmitsburg, Iowa.

Dee Dee was diagnosed with cancer in the spring of 2015 in Jackson, TN and given 6 months to live. Her goal was to make it to her 50th birthday and the Lord blessed her with another year and a half of life. She was a sweet, caring and compassionate woman who was loved dearly by her husband, daughter, grandchildren, family and friends.
