Lawrence: Mr. J Philippe "Phil" Bruneau, 76, died Thursday at his home. Born in Lawrence, Mr. Bruneau had been an area resident all of his life. For many years he had been employed at St. Augustine Parish on Tower Hill. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish and was a Veteran of the Korean War having served in Korea, China and Japan and received the Presidential Unit Citation and the Korean Service Medal. For many years he was the president of the Tower Hill Little League and managed the first Senior League Basebal Team of Tower Hill. He was also a coach and manager of St. Augustine's basketball team. He was very active in the parish bingo, Christmas fair and cabarets. Mr. Bruneau is survived by:
His wife of 55 years: Dolores "Dolly" Bruneau
3 daughters: Rhoda & her husband Paul McCartney of Haverhill.

5 sons: Philip & his wife Sandra Bruneau of Methuen

There are 22 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 am, at St. Augustine Chapel on Tower Hill. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, at the Racicot Funeral Home, 256 Broadway, Lawrence.
