MISS LILLIAN COATES
Brief graveside service for Miss Lillian Coates, who died in a Newark Hospital Tuesday night, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Rev. George H. DeHority of First Presbyterian Church will officiate. Arrangements ware in charge of Emerson Funeral Home, Newark.
Miss Coates had lived in Newark Rest Home for five years.
She leaves no survivors, being preceded in death by her brother, Atty. Joseph Coates of Portsmouth, and a sister, Sally, who died in 1951.
The Coates homestead was at Second and Gay Sts. many years.
