Andrew Adams
Andrew Adams, 62, of Bremerton, died Nov. 23 at Madigan Army Hospital in Tacoma.
He was born Nov. 3, 1932, in Waterloo, Neb. On Feb. 28, 1992, he married his wife, Chisako, in Port Orchard.
He served in the Navy during the Korean and Vietnam wars, retiring as chief in 1971 after 20 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Chisako; three brothers, Lyle of Salem, Ore., Edward of Omaha, Neb., and Walter of Milford, Iowa; three sisters, Neva Miller, Melva Champion and Barbara Warnke, all of Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, Marie Adams of Hawaii; and three grandchildren.
There will be no services. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Peninsula Japanese Women's Club, P.O. Box 342, Tracyton 98393.

NOTE: First wife, Masako Fujioka who he met in Japan. They had one daughter, Marie Fujioka Adams born Jan 25, 1956. Masako since passed as did Marie Dec 30, 2003. Marie had 3 children, Casie born in 1977, Wendi in 1978 and Eli in 1983, all born and raised in Hawaii.
