Robert “Bob” Earl Fluharty, age 81, of Mannington, WV, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born October 25, 1935 in Wadestown, WV, a son of the late Harland Earl Fluharty and Laura Opal Wright Fluharty.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Keener Fluharty of Mannington, with whom he was married to for 61 years of marriage, as well as several cousins.

Bob was a carpenter by trade. He worked for several years with Robert B. Shackelford and Son at the time of his retirement. He loved working in woodshop and working with his hands. He once built a replica of an oil well. He attended the Church of St. Leo and recently attended Noah’s Ark Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed feeding wild life, especially the deer and turkey.

Family and friends may call at Noah’s Ark Assembly of God Church in Fairview, on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 10-11:00am with funeral services beginning at 11am with Pastor Delas Stuzen officiating. Interment will be held at the Wadestown Cemetery.
