Arthur J. Cessna

Niles - Arthur James Cessna, 73, 6516 Detroit Ave., Cleveland, formerly of Niles, died of a heart ailment at 4:10 a.m. Tuesday in St. John Hospital, Cleveland.

He was born Dec. 23, 1907 in Vandergrift, Pa., the son of Harper E. and Lyda Bell Smeltzer Cessna.

Mr. Cessna had resided in Cleveland for 15 years, and had worked in the maintenance department of Gordon Square Hotel. While in this area he was
employed by Ohio Edison Company.

An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Free Methodist Church.

His wife, Sarah "Sally" Cessna, died 20 years ago.

Survivors include a brother, William of Riverside, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Hamilton of Warren and Mrs. Eleanor Reynolds of Reno, Nev.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where friends may call from noon until time of service.
Burial will be in Niles Union Cemetery.
