Services for Mr. Johnny Fletcher Walker, 79, of Jonesboro, La., were held Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Conger's Funeral Home in Arcadia. Rev. A. R. Moore officiated, with interment following at the Liberty Hill Cemetery. He was born in Bienville Parish and was a former resident of Bienville. He died on September 20. Conger's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He was the husband of Mrs. Belle Walker of Jonesboro; the father of Mr. Ray Walker of Shreveport, and the uncle of several nieces and nephews. Survivors include three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tommy Greening, Mike Ginn, Claude Higgins, Lewis Cobb, Jr., Lee McBride and Jerry McBride.
