Burdette W. "Bud" Foss, 77, of rural Angola, formerly of Fort Wayne, died at noon Tuesday in Cameron Memorial Community Hospital, Angola. Born in Holgate, Ohio, he retired in 1970 as manager of the research and development department at Tokheim after 35 years. He lived in Fort Wayne about 45 years. Surviving are his wife, Ellen; two sons, Edward W., of Fort Wayne, and John D., of Mountain View, Calif.; one sister, Alice Borcherding, of Fort Wayne; and seven grandchildren. Services at 11 a.m. Saturday in Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, with calling from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Cameron Hospice Home Health Care.
