Michael (Sykes) Seminick, 50, of 117 Harding Ave., Hatboro, died unexpectedly of a heart attack, at 9:55 p.m., Friday, Aug 4, 1961, in Holy Redeemer Hospital, Philadelphia.

Mr. Seminick was born Oct. 20, 1910, in Scranton, a son of the late Wasil and Mary Dano Seminick.

He spent most of his life in the Canonsburg and Muse vicinity before moving to the Philadelphia area 11 years ago. He was a barber by trade.

Surviving are his wife, Thresa; three sisters, Anna, wife of John Iski, Detroit, Mich.; Mary, wife of John Torsky, Cedarville, Mich., and Helen, wife of John Moscheck, Allen Park, Mich., and two brothers, John, Detroit, Mich., and Andrew, Elizabethton, Tenn. Andrew is a former Philadelphia and Cincinnati baseball catcher. At present he is manager of the Williamsport baseball club.

Friends will be received at the John F. Yoney Funeral Home where services will be held at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday followed by services at 9 a.m. in St. John's Russian Orthodox Church in charge of the Rev. Dimitri Ermakov, pastor. Burial will be in Oak Spring Cemetery. Parastas services will be held at the funeral home at 7 o'clock this evening.
