Dawn Michelle Earley Koenig, 48, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017. She was the former Dawn Vest, a 1987 graduate of New Albany High School and later Ivy Tech. Dawn spent her career as a registered nurse at Clark Memorial Hospital, and was also a member of Poplar Level Church of God. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Earley; her dad, Robert L. Vest, Jr.; and her grandparents, James E. Morris Sr., Robert L. Vest, Sr., and Clara Vest Lile. Dawn is survived by her husband, Jeff Koenig; one son, Sean Earley; her beloved granddaughter, Eden Earley; her mom and dad, Donna (Morris) and Al Cummings; stepmother, Betty Vest; her mother-in-law, Dianne Koenig; her grandmother, Betty Webb (Wayne); one brother, Jonathan Vest (Rena); two stepsisters, Kristina McKinney and Barbara Seymour; a brother-in-law, Todd Koenig; along with a host of extended friends and family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at New Albany First Church of God, 2248 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
