Mr. Henry P. “Dude” Caudill born July 7, 1947 departed this life on Friday October 13, 2017 at the Bluegrass Care Navigators in Hazard, Kentucky being 70-years, 3-months, and 6-days old. Henry was born in Viper, Kentucky the son of the late Howard Caudill and the late Mattie Fields Caudill. Henry was also preceded in death by his Sisters, Sarah Caudill, Linda Lawson and Martha Hagan. Henry was a life-long resident of Perry County, a Member of the Community Baptist Church at Viper and by Occupation was a Retired Coal Miner.
Mr. Henry P. “Dude” Caudill leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife, Irene Eldridge Caudill of Viper; Son, Terry Wayne Caudill & Pam of Viper; Daughter, Tanya Marie Engle of Hazard; Two Grandsons, Brayden Chase Engle and Cooper Wayne Caudill; Three Brothers, Tom Caudill of Scottsburg, IN, Powell Caudill of Hazard and James Caudill of Oven Fork, KY; Four Sisters, Geneva Jeffers & Jack of Lexington, Mary Dials & Don of Viper, Molinda Combs of Happy and Clara Halcomb of Slemp; A host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends survive.
Funeral Services for Mr. Henry P. “Dude” Caudill will be conducted on Monday October 16, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Community Baptist Church at Viper, Kentucky with James Combs and Arnold Eldridge officiating. The Interment will follow in the Caudill Family Cemetery located at Big Branch in Viper, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Community Baptist Church on Sunday evening from 6:00-9:00 P.M. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
