NAPLES, Fla. - Andrew Nevin Lown, 59, passed away Tuesday (Oct. 3, 2017) in Naples.

Born July 25, 1958, in Olean, N.Y., he was a son of the late Myron and Rhoda Frankel Lown.

Andrew was a 1976 graduate of Olean High School and a proud 1980 graduate of Syracuse University.

Following his college graduation, Andrew moved to Florida to begin his business career. Over the years, he operated several businesses in the Tampa area, eventually purchasing Davis Island Hardware, which he ran for many years. He retired and moved to Naples in 2016.

He followed Syracuse University sports with great passion, never missing a televised Syracuse football or basketball game.

He is survived by his brother, Max (Lisa Krimen) of Chicago.; his sister, Cara (Mark Gertler) of New York; and his nieces and nephews, Celia and Michael Lown, and Sarah and Sam Gertler.

Burial will be in B'Nai Israel Cemetery, Route 16, Olean.
