Harvey grew up and went to school at Pine Springs and Farris. At a young age he worked as a heavy equipment operator on highway construction before going to work as a press operator at Boeing Air Craft, Wichita, Kansas. After a few years, he moved back to Oklahoma and went to work as a delivery driver for Coke Cola and Olen Miller & Sons Distributing in Durant. After retirement, he owned and operated a lawn mowing business in Caddo and Kenefic area. Harvey loved his dogs and cats, to fish, raise a garden; especially watermelons and cantaloupes, play cards and dominoes, and refurbish model Ford tractors.
Mr. Dillingham is survived by his; son, James Dillingham of Durant, Oklahoma; daughter, Guyla Hill and husband David of Farris, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Jamie Santos and husband Steve of San Antonio, Texas and Amy Isbell and husband David of Crystal, Oklahoma; great-grandsons, Matthew Santos and Jackson Santos both of San Antonio, Texas; great-granddaughter, Stephanie Hill of Campbell Hill, Illinois; special companion, Bertha Starnes; and special friend, Gaylene Houser.
Mr. Dillingham was preceded in death by his; beloved wife, Delma Lee Dillingham; father, Harve Dillingham; mother, Minnie Katherine Dillingham; brothers, Clarence, Robert “Bob” and M.E. Dillingham; sisters, Jewell Walker, Hazel Starnes and Zada Benham; and grandson, Dusty Lee Hill.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 1st at the Darwin Cemetery in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma with Dwight Satterfield officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Pat Starnes, Larry Starnes, David Hill and Buddy Taylor.
