Kathryn E. Powell Jenkins, 83, of Bartlesville, Okla., formerly of Peoria, died at 1:35 a.m. Friday, April 8, 1994, at her home.
Born Oct. 2, 1910, in Peoria to Kirk and Sophie Moushon Powell, she married Lowell Jenkins on Dec. 21, 1945. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Janet Sue Jenkins of Bartlesville; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Don Webster; and one sister, Mrs. Wayne (Lois) Schad of Peoria.
She worked for the War Department in Washington, D.C., during World War II. She later moved to Bartlesville where she helped develop the foreign department for the Phillips Petroleum Co.
She donated her body to medical science.
