Beatrice was the daughter of James Adams b. 1848 d. 1927, an architect, and Elizabeth Alice Anson b. 1852 d. 1938, called Elsie. She was born in Latchford, Cheshire England. James and Elizabeth had two other daughters and a son.
The Adams family immigrated from England in 1882 and became naturalized citizens in 1887. Beatrice was confirmed in Lowell, Massachusetts on March 9, 1890 at St. Anne's Episcopal Church. By 1900 the family lived in Kearny Town (Arlington), New Jersey where her father had his architect's office.
Beatrice married William Baldwin on March 19, 1898, in Manhattan, and they had five children, but only Beatrice Florence, George and Howard survived. Beatrice Baldwin passed away from cancer. The plot where she is buried is owned by her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Susan Dessart, along with two other plots.
