Nona J. Stevens, age 89, of 2415 Kellner Street, Manitowoc, passed away early Sunday morning, October 15, 2017, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center of Manitowoc.

The former Nona June Huebner was born on July 12, 1928, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Carl F. and Erna M. (Glaeser) Huebner. She graduated with the class of 1946 from Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On September 19, 1953 she married Robert W. Stevens in Chicago IL. He preceded her in death on January 24, 2015. The couple moved to Manitowoc in 1995. She was a member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.

Nona is survived by her two sons: Bob Stevens, Appleton; John (Lynn) Stevens, Davenport, FL; two grandchildren: Shawn and Rob; one sister: Ione Brick, Manitowoc; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Lloyd (Inez) Huebner, Greenfield; Wayne (Diane) Huebner, Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law: Joanne Birringer Manitowoc; Dorothy Stevens, Sheboygan, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Carl and Erna Huebner; her husband: Robert Stevens; one brother and sister-in-law: Elton (Helene) Huebner; one sister and brother-in-law: Ruth (Harry) Teteak; three brothers-in-law: Delmar Brick; Donald Stevens; Milt Birringer.

A Memorial service will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Thomas Pankow will officiate with burial of her cremated remains at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, 2426 North Rapids Road, Manitowoc, Manitowoc Lutheran High School or Wels Synod in Nona's name. Online condolences may be expressed at www.jensreinboldandpfeffer.com
