Mary Pauline Bonnet, (prev. Daymond), 85, of Chandler, Oklahoma, went to heaven, October 12, 2017. She was born to the late Harry and Mary Ellen (Hall) Barnes on February 14, 1932 in Montrose, Colorado. Polly was predeceased by her husband of 22 years, Dale Bonnet of Medina, Texas; brother Gene Barnes; and sister Elnora Sedam. She is survived by her sister, Marge Floyd (Buddy) of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Robert D. Barnes (Jan) of Wichita; daughters, Jo Weddendorf (Bruce) of Hunstville, Alabame, Susan Byrd (Sam) of Chandler, Oklahoma, Cindy Rietcheck (Gerry) of Wichita; stepson, Alex Bonnet (Melana) of El Paso, Texas; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews. Polly was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church of Chandler and every church she joined. Polly loved flowers and beautifying her homes with them. Arrangements were entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, OKlahoma. Memorial service and gathering will be at 10:30 am Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 at Minisa Community Center, 704 W. 13th St. N., Wichita. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cure Alzheimer's Fund.
