FERRISBURGH, VT. - Christopher "Chris" William Smith Sr., age 67, of 3601 Sand Road in Ferrisburgh, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 20th 2017.
He was born on September 1st 1950 in Vergennes, Vt., he was the son of William Russell and Arlene Ruth (Turpin) Smith.
He was the beloved husband of Rene (Ives) Smith.
He worked at the original Simmonds Precision in Vergennes, Vt. and made many good friends in the 37 years he was employed there.
He enjoyed traveling and made trips to Las Vegas, Florida, and Atlantic City, with his wife, his daughter, and his crazy sister-in-law.
He was predeceased by his parents; his father William Smith on June 5th 2004 and his mother Arlene Smith on March 10th 1992, and infant son; Christopher William Smith Jr. on June 19th 1972.
