Using the stage name “Daisy Berkowitz,” he was the original lead guitarist and co-founder of the rock band “Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids,” playing guitar on the released "Portrait of an American Family" and "Antichrist Superstar" before leaving and joining the music group “Jack Off Jill.” Putesky was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2013.
