He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Henry Eugene Lawhorn; a daughter, Brenda Lee Temples; and three sisters, Ruby Gilbert, Alice Sue Stephenson, and Judy Charlene Henson.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Kay (Smith) Lawhorn of the home; three daughters, Darlene (and Paul) Blevins of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Michelle (and Ray) Plemmons of Springdale, Arkansas, and Kelly (and Don) McGarrah of Huntsville, Arkansas; two step-sons, Ernest Thomas, and John Thomas, both of Springdale, Arkansas; three brothers, Tom Lawhorn, and Rob Lawhorn, both of Huntsville, Arkansas, and Jim Lawhorn of Springdale, Arkansas; a sister, Ann Burrow of Fort Smith, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Private services with interment in the Mossville Cemetery were under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville, Arkansas.
