McCORD, Elaine Welcome Hummel, age 86 of Beavercreek passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at home surrounded by her family.
Preceded in death by her parents Welcome and Roy Hummel; son Larry McCord; and brother Donald Hummel. Survived by her husband of 67 years, Edward Ross McCord, with whom she had 10 children, 9 surviving: Gary (Joanna) McCord, Larry-dec.(Becky) McCord, Jim(Becky) McCord, Susan McCord, Carrie (Drew) Brown, Tim McCord, Amy (Scott) Luettich, Betsy McCord (Gregg Baker), Ted McCord, and Edie (Eddie) Pitstick; 27 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Elaine was a member of Hillside Chapel in Beavercreek. She had 10 children but was mother to many more.
