John Sliney, 512 1/2 North Fifth street, and Mrs. Nellie Beynum, nee Hardy, yesterday morning landed in St. Louis, and were married.

Late yesterday, relatives of the runaways professed their ignorance of future plans of Mr. and Mrs. Sliney, but it is thought that they will return to Quincy after their round of honeymooning, and will engage in housekeeping. Whether an apartment has been rented is not known.

Mr. Sliney went to St. Louis Tuesday, apparently for business and a little recreation. Business, his friends say, was forgotten before he boarded the train. Mrs. Beynum, it is understood, has been in St. Louis several days.

The groom is a partner of H. M. Weber in a buffet on Hampshire street, and is well known, having made Quincy his home for a number of years. His bride is a daughter of Mrs. Nannie Hardy, 720 Oak street, and is popular with all her associates.
